Same spot as previous posts. It's very warm these days in central Italy and this is the perfect place for some fresh air. You can paint with you feet in the water and dip your brush directly in the stream.

After John Middleton



By way of exercise I tried to "copy" this watercolour by John Middleton called Blofield. It is one of my favourites by this great british painter. Unfortunately very little can be found about him and it seems that no book was made. His subjects are very traditional but he is an absolute master in watercolour.
